TAG Heuer green dials have become famous the world over. Collectors are willing to pay a premium for them, and honestly, we completely get it. Some of the green dials are simply breathtaking. Just like with the initial sunburst green dials, TAG Heuer kept the hour markers and the minute track clean so that customers could enjoy the stone-like depth to the fullest. We can quickly agree that diamond markers or any other additions to a dial like this take away from the impact and visual joy that TAG Heuer green dials should bring. The watch you see in the picture is a TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 ref. WBP5116. This full-stainless steel version of the famous dive watch is the perfect canvas for the moss green dial. TAG Heuer would also use moss green in the same clean way for the 200 series. For later six-digit references of the Aquaracer, you can also find moss green dials with carbon fiber inlays. As with the sunburst green dial, I feel other green dials are special and best enjoyed without extra complications. An Aquaracer ref. WBP5116 with a moss green dial is difficult to find, especially on a rubber strap. Expect to see prices around $3,000. We also see similar asking prices for other Aquaracer refs with the clean moss green dials. What you get in return is truly something special and perfect for daily wear.
TAG Heuer green dial — Emerald Green
You might recognize the watch in the pictures if you are a regular reader of our Top 5 series. I featured it in our list of the top five full-steel TAG Heuer dive watches a few weeks ago. That list was all about the Aquaracer Professional 300, which was available in stainless steel and looked amazing. As explained in that article, TAG Heuer offered the same reference with a stunning emerald green dial and a matching bezel. While it is not the only TAG Heuer available with an emerald green dial, it is the most surprising and maybe even most impactful. At first glance, the watch resembles a regular Aquaracer with a black dial and a black bezel. But as soon as you get Replica TAG Heuer closer, the brilliance of the dial stands out more and more. Its unique look is instantly recognizable. It has a very specific presence that, combined with the stainless steel case, creates a true statement of modern dive watch style. Having said that, the olive green dials were not exclusive to the 2010s; they simply have a look reminiscent of that era. Unlike many other models, olive green dials were only available for the Aquaracer Professional 300 and 200. I think it’s a match made in heaven as an olive green dial in combination with titanium or gold would be a mismatch. Additionally, all olive green dials have a 60-minute bezel insert, so TAG Heuer kept them as functional as possible. Admittedly, however, reading the time on these dials can sometimes be hard since green hands do not contrast strongly with the olive green. But what these dials sometimes lack in practicality, they make up for in style and character. Unlike the previous green dials, an olive green dial is not as expensive. Expect prices for a stainless steel Aquaracer with an olive green dial to start under $2,000 on a rubber strap. On a stainless steel bracelet, the asking prices range roughly from $2,500 to $3,500. A TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 with an olive green dial goes for significantly more, starting at roughly $3,500 and moving up to $4,500 for some.
TAG Heuer green dial — Khaki Green
Our last pick is technically not a pure green but a khaki green that borders on greenish-gray. While TAG Heuer made it part of its green dial options, khaki green is formed through a special coating process and is a unique hue. These dials are rather rare and also very popular. As a result, they are among the most expensive green dials out there. Expect asking prices to start around $2,800 and move up quickly for ones in great condition. What you get in return is unique in more than one way. Not only are the color and texture unique, but because this is technically a matte finish, it is one of those TAG Heuer anomalies that collectors love. Who are we to disagree?
